This week has been fairly busy for me and certainly long, containing 9 days without a day off. Its not something I really want to do on a regular basis but it was required and I’m glad its over now. To keep my spirits up, I was looking forward to Friday and going to see comedian Rhod Gilbert at the Hammersmith Apollo, it was DVD recording night of The Man with the Flaming Battenberg Tattoo show and for the most part it was very funny. We had front row tickets which means I’ll be on the DVD without fail and for the most part laughing at the right bits I hope.
On the way over to the theatre I decided to take a trip on the new cable car across the Thames called the Emirates Air Line. The weather was’t great and I only had my camera with me but the views were spectacular.
Today was another busy day at a London film fair which normally means people dressing up as various popular culture icons and loads of nurds buying t-shirts, mugs and for some reason today Rambo knifes and martial arts weapons from the movies. What these geeks plan to do with them eludes me. One of the highlights today was meeting a few Hollywood actors who ventured across the atlantic to promote their work or just themselves. So, I had the pleasure in meeting, Karl Urban, Jeri Ryan and Gillian Andeson…
So, after a week of counting down from day 1 of 9, I ended up back to Seven of Nine…
Now its time for me to regenerate in my alcove, I’m exhausted.
